· YOUR INFLATABLE ATTRACTION SHOULD NOT BE OPERATED IN
WINDS THAT EXCEED 15-20 MPH, CHECK TYPE SPECIFIC
MANUALS FOR TYPE SPECIFIC WIND RATINGS.
· NEVER SECURE ANCHOR POINTS TO A VEHICLE OR OBJECT THAT
MAY BE INADVERTANLY MOVED WHILE AN ATTRACTION IS IN
OPERATION!
Your inflatable is neither stable nor secure if not anchored as per manufacturer instruction. An inflatable attraction does not “self-anchor” under its weight alone and can be moved, lifted or overturned by any unexpected gust of wind. Do not allow anyone to enter an inflatable until the unit has been properly anchored.
You will find several anchor points on your inflatable attraction. These anchor points are in the form of 2″ galvanized “D-rings” secured to your attraction by webbing loops around perimeter of the unit. Under no circumstances should you try to secure the inflatable at any other points on the attraction as this is not the recommended procedure for anchoring and will cause damage to your unit or injury to participants. As your
unit becomes fully inflated it should be secured at the anchor points with steel stakes measuring at least 36″ (40″ for slide outrigger applications) in length or sand bags (minimum weight requirements are noted in your game specific manual). Staking is recommended for soft ground and sand bags are recommended for hard ground and indoor erection. It is important that the anchoring locations are clearly indicated so as not impose a tripping hazard. Please refer to the additional operating instruction manual pertaining to each specific attraction for recommended lengths and positioning of anchor tools.
